The Truth About the MrBeast Experience at Resorts World Las Vegas: What Really Happened
We recently attended the MrBeast Experience at Resorts World Las Vegas, which was marketed as an immersive multi-day event filled with activations, surprises, and exclusive entertainment. What did we experience? Nothing short of a letdown.
The Hype vs. Reality
Resorts World promoted the event with promises like:
“Throughout the week, the property will host a series of on-site activations, treating guests to an immersive experience.”
Naturally, we were excited—and we documented the entire week in daily vlogs and a full-length YouTube documentary. But instead of activations or immersive elements, we walked around Resorts World Las Vegas day after day, searching for anything tied to the experience. Spoiler alert: It was an empty resort with a food court.

The Update: MrBeast Responds
After meeting with CEO Alex Dixon, Resorts World offered us a $100 food and beverage credit, split across two venues, as the only form of compensation. No refund. No real resolution.
So, we posted our YouTube video and decided to let our audience know exactly what happened.
Later that night, we received a DM from MrBeast himself, saying:
"This definitely isn't the experience we hoped they'd deliver... I'd love to personally make it up to you and anyone else by inviting everybody affected to tour my actual studio!"

Shortly after, an email from Resorts World Las Vegas confirmed full refunds would be issued to all attendees.
MrBeast is Making It Right
The next day, we got a call from the MrBeast team. They listened. They cared. And they promised to deliver a better experience—one that delivers on what was promised. We’ve now submitted our availability to visit MrBeast's HQ and studio in North Carolina, and we’re hopeful that this new experience will be everything the Las Vegas event wasn’t.
We’ll be documenting it all with a brand-new Recess vlog on our YouTube channel and across our social media platforms.
So... Did Anyone Win the $10,000?
There’s been a lot of buzz online questioning whether anyone won the $10,000 prize. From what we can tell, a public Instagram Reel shows someone claiming to have won the prize. So yes, it appears someone did.
Final Thoughts
We were never trying to slam MrBeast or Resorts World—we’re glass-half-full people. If anything, we tried to be fair and honest with our coverage. Maybe we were too kind, but authenticity is our vibe. You can watch the full MrBeast Experience vlog and decide for yourself.
