The Ultimate Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Challenge: Are You Ready?
Get ready for the most magical holiday celebration of the year—Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party at Walt Disney World! We took on the ultimate challenge at this festive event, and it’s packed with holiday treats, character meet-and-greets, and thrilling ride overlays. If you plan to attend, here’s a breakdown of the fun things we tackled during our Christmas adventure.
Here’s what we set out to accomplish:
Eat a Savory Snack – Since this party is all about sweet treats, we challenged ourselves to find something savory. After some searching, we headed to Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and discovered their delicious Christmas-style chicken tamale with red and green chili sauce. Pro tip: it’s not too spicy and offers a nice break from the sugary snacks!
Try a Holiday Treat Trail Cookie – What’s Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party without indulging in a few cookies? We decided to taste one cookie from each of the five treat trails. First up was a soft gingerbread cookie with buttercream frosting—super sweet and the perfect start to our cookie challenge.
Character Meet-and-Greet – Meeting the beloved Disney characters in their holiday outfits is a must! This time, we met a few of them during the party. Don't miss out on snapping a festive photo with characters like Mickey, Minnie, and even Clarabelle!
Meet a Disney Vlogger— The first night of Mickey’s Christmas party was sold out, so vloggers and influencers were everywhere, capturing the magic. Our mission was to spot a fellow Disney content creator during the night, adding a social media twist to our challenge.
Holiday Ride Overlays – Some classic rides get festive makeovers during the event! We hit up three of the must-ride attractions:
Space Mountain with its jingle-filled soundtrack and vibrant lights.
The Mad Tea Party with its unique Christmas colors and lighting effects.
And one more surprise ride to keep things exciting!
Why Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is a Must-Do:
The Parade – “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” is a delightful spectacle with dancing reindeer, festive floats, and Santa Claus himself!
Fireworks Show— You’ll be wowed by “Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks,” which light up the sky with holiday colors and music.
Stage Shows – There are multiple shows to enjoy throughout the night, including “Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration.”
