When Will Epic Universe Open?
Epic Universe is set to open on May 22, 2025, in Orlando, Florida, part of the Univeral Orlando Resort. Universal’s Epic Universe will be a massive new Orlando theme park. Universal Studios has 108 acres, Islands of Adventure has 101 acres, and CityWalk plus existing resorts has 735 acres. Universal’s Epic Universe is estimated at 750 Acres, making it the most significant theme park expansion in Universal Orlando’s history (to date).
Epic Universe is nearly the size of Universal's two current theme parks and CityWalk combined. The expansion includes the park itself, three brand-new hotels (Universal Helios Grand Hotel, Stella Nova Resort, and Terra Luna Resort), and a new entertainment hub.
With this massive footprint, Epic Universe will offer four immersive themed lands, cutting-edge attractions, and the largest Super Nintendo World in the U.S. The layout allows for better crowd flow and room for future expansions, making it Universal's most ambitious project yet.
Unlike Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure, Epic Universe is a few miles from the central Universal Orlando Resort. It will be situated on Sand Lake Road and Universal Blvd, near the Orlando Convention Center. Universal will provide transportation options to connect guests staying at Universal Orlando’s hotels.
How Do You Buy Tickets for Epic Universe?
Universal Orlando has officially released details on tickets and passes for Epic Universe! Guests can now purchase multi-day tickets with access to Epic Universe Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure. This means just one day at Epic Universe and at each OG park. Universal has also confirmed that annual passes will NOT include Epic Universe, at least for now, but AP holders could purchase single-day tickets for Epic Universe. Universal is slowly releasing various ticket types for Epic Universe. For the best and most up-to-date information, we recommend contacting us.

What Are the Best Hotels to Stay at Near Epic Universe?
